“This lemonade is so tasty! We served it at a dinner and everybody loved it! We were even asked for the recipe :) Be sure to start out with the smallest amounts of water and sugar suggested and taste as you add. This is definitely a recipe to taste as you go! Also, we ended up using more than two lemons, so have a couple more handy, just in case.”

Ingredients

2 large lemons
3/4 - 1 cup sugar
6 - 7 cups water
2 cups strawberries
1/8 - 1/4 cup sugar

1. Slice lemons as thinly as possible. Mix slices with 3/4-1 cup sugar in large bowl. Mash with potato masher. Pour into pitcher and add water and sugar to taste. Strain out seeds and rinds.

2. Combine strawberries with 1/8-1/4 cup sugar and mash (or process until desired consistency.) Add more sugar if needed.

3. To serve, pour lemonade into glass and add several tablespoons of strawberry mixture. (or just mix it all together in the pitcher, tasting as you go.)
