Mini Peanut Butter Kiss Blossoms

Makes about 14 dozen cookies

“I made these regular size because I didn’t have mini kisses. I loved them though, because they stay nice and moist!”

Ingredients
3/4 cup creamy peanut butter
1/2 cup shortening
1/3 granulated sugar
1/3 cup packed light brown sugar
1 egg
3 Tablespoons milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
Granulated sugar
Mini semi-sweet or milk chocolate kisses

1. Preheat over to 350 degrees F.

2. Beat peanut butter and shortening in large bowl with mixer until well combined. Add 1/3 cup sugar and brown sugar; beat well. Add egg, milk and vanilla; beat until fluffy. In a separate bowl, stir together salt, flour and baking soda; gradually add to peanut butter mixture., beating until well blended. Shape into 1/2-inch balls. Roll in granulated sugar; place on ungreased cookie sheet.

3. Bake 5-6 minutes or until set. Immediately press mini kiss into center of each cookie. Remove from cookie sheet and cool on wire rack.
