Makes 16 rangoons

“This made only about 8 rangoons for me. It may make 16 if you use a tiny amount of filling, but I like a lot. They are so good!”

Ingredients
3 ounces cream cheese, softened
2 green onions, finely chopped
1/4 cup finely chopped imitation crab meat
1 teaspoon minced garlic
16 wonton wrappers
oil

1. In a small mixing bowl, beat cream cheese until smooth. Add onions, crab and garlic; mix well. Place about 1 1/2 teaspoon in each wrapper. Moisten edges with water, fold opposite corners over filling and press to seal.

2. In electric skillet*, heat 1″ of oil to 375 degrees (F). Fry wontons for 1-2 minutes or until golden brown, turning once. Drain on paper towel.

* I just put oil in a saucepan and heated it until hot enough. Wonton will start frying as soon as put in if hot enough. Fry until golden brown.

“I got this recipe from Pampered Chef, but I have adapted it to my family’s flavors. I don’t measure it at all. I just like of put a little of this and a little of that in it. And I make it for every party. If I don’t, I hear ‘why didn’t you make that dip?!’ We always run out! I serve this with Chips! ENJOY!”

Ingredients
8-ounces cream cheese
1 cup sour cream
Taco seasoning, to taste
Grated cheese
15-ounce can refried beans

1. Pre Heat oven to 350* F. In a bowl mix cream cheese, sour cream, and about a handful or two of the grated cheese, add the taco seasoning to taste. In the baking dish layer the refried beans. (you can mix a little taco seasoning in it if you would like.) Then layer the sour cream mixture over that. Layer the grated cheese over that to taste. (I put a few handfuls.)

2. Bake for about 15 min. When you take it out you can put onions (green), olives, tomatoes, and any other things that you might like.
