Makes two loaves
“This bread smells and tastes delicious! Be sure to check the source link (above) for tips on how to use this dough for pizza, focaccia bread and pizza buns!”

Ingredients:
2 Tbsp sugar
2 Tbsp cooking oil
2 tsp salt
2 cups hot tap water
4 1/2 – 5 cups flour
2 Tbsp instant yeast
1 egg
2 Tablespoons milk

1. Mix sugar, oil, salt, hot water and flour. Add yeast to a little flour and add while dough is still soft. Add enough flour to make a dough that holds together in a ball shape and is not sticky if you handle it with floured hands. Cover. Let rise until double, about 1/2 hour. Divide in half.

2. Roll out to about 12×15” rectangle. Roll up jelly roll style and place on greased cookie sheet (or cover cookie sheet with Parchment paper). Cut diagonal slits on top. Let rise about 30 – 45 min.

3. Beat egg and milk together in small bowl.  Brush on tops.

4. Bake at 400F for 20 min, or until golden.
